Registration & Requirements

Before you can start your driving licence training, you need a few documents and must register with a driving school. Here we explain step by step what you need.

Theory lessons

In theory lessons you will learn the most important rules of the road. Depending on the driving licence category, you must attend a certain number of mandatory lessons.

Theory test

The theory test consists of questions about road traffic and can be taken in various languages. You may only begin your practical training after passing the theory test.

practical driving lessons

During driving lessons, you will learn step by step how to drive safely in traffic. This includes practice sessions and mandatory special driving lessons.

Practical exam

In der praktischen Prüfung zeigst du, dass du sicher und verantwortungsvoll fahren kannst. Der Prüfer begleitet dich dabei im Fahrzeug.

Professional drivers & additional qualifications

Here you will find information on accelerated basic qualification (IHK), ADR dangerous goods, load securing, forklifts and other additional qualifications in the transport and logistics sector.
